At Distinctive Trophies we have a wide range of products. Our Returns Policy is in addition to your statutory rights and outlines our commitment to you to ensure you are satisfied with your DISTINCTIVE TROPHIES shopping experience either in store or online.

*FOR ALL REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES YOU MUST STRICTLY DO SO WITHIN 14 DAYS OF DATE PRODUCT SHIPPED FROM OUR AUSTRALIAN WAREHOUSE, OTHERWISE REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES WILL BE FORFIETED.

Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you simply change your mind.

When creating your account and registering your details, all details entered must be correct. Any charges incurred by parcels that cannot be posted due to Buyer providing incorrect address will be covered by the Buyer. These charges must be paid before item can be resent, exchanged or refunded.

Distinctive Trophies reserves the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice to you. Your continued use of the website after any amendment becomes effective, and constitutes an agreement by you to abide and be bound by the Terms and Conditions, as so amended.

1. Please retain your receipt

In order to obtain a refund or exchange a product that you purchased from DISTINCTIVE TROPHIES, you must have clear proof of purchase - typically a receipt that is no older than 7 days.

2. Product is faulty, unfit for purpose or does not match its advertised description?

Once proof of purchase has been established within the 14 days of purchase, if the product fault can safely and clearly be determined either in-store or at our online returns centre, we will offer you a refund or exchange.

Unfortunately, Distinctive Trophies cannot offer a refund or exchange where the product is more than 14 days old, or not in it’s original condition. If the product does not match its advertised description, DISTINCTIVE TROPHIES will provide you with either a refund or exchange product to the value of the product purchased.

3. Change of mind

Please choose carefully as DISTINCTIVE TROPHIES does not refund if you simply change your mind or you make a wrong decision. You can choose between a refund or exchange where goods:

  • Are faulty
  • Have been wrongly described, or
  • Different from a sample shown you

DISTINCTIVE TROPHIES will provide you with an exchange OR a credit note to the value of the product intially purchased.

Q: DISTINCTIVE TROPHIES requests my personal information during the refund or exchange process, what do they do with the information?

Our respect for customer’s right to privacy of their personal information is paramount. We have policies and procedures to ensure that all personal information no matter how or where it is obtained, is handled sensitively, securely and in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. We may collect personal information during the refund or exchange process in order to comply with our fraud identification processes. 4. What happens if I have purchased a product online and want to return it?

If criteria above is met and DISTINCTIVE TROPHIES is satisfied that a refund or exchange is in order, the buyer must return purchased goods back to us in original packaging, condition and must send product back by mail/courier at their own expense. An authorised return form must be completed before a refund or exchange can be granted. If it is a faulty item, we do not require return of item but we do require detailed pictures of fault to be emailed to us.

5. If I can't find my receipt, can I use a bank statement as proof of purchase instead?

Unfortunately DISTINCTIVE TROPHIES will not accept a bank or credit card statement unless the amount on that statement directly corresponds to the amount at which the product in question was purchased. Where multiple items were purchased in that transaction, it limits our ability to establish proof of purchase. DISTINCTIVE TROPHIES cannot provide copies of receipts if lost or misplaced.

Please note: When a refund is granted, we will refund the original purchase price in the form of the previous method of payment indicated on the receipt. If you are granted an exchange for reason of not having a receipt, you will be given an exchange to the value of the current system price.

6. Our Website, Your Acceptance

This website is owned and operated by K P & J C Magill, trading as Distinctive Trophies. Your use and membership of the website is conditional upon your acceptance and compliance with the terms, conditions, notices and disclaimers listed in our Terms & Conditions. Your use of the website constitutes your agreement to the Terms and Conditions.

7. Orders & Purchases

All products on our website are only available for sale to individuals/customers who have the capacity to make legally binding contracts.

Any order placed by you in the manner described in this website is an offer by you to purchase a particular product for the price (including the delivery and other charges and taxes) specified in this website at the time you place your order on these Terms and Conditions.

Distinctive Trophies agrees the offered products on our site are to be (as a supplier):

  • free from any defects in material and workmanship;
  • of merchantable quality;
  • fit for purpose; and
  • conform with all relevant standards.

Distinctive Trophies reserves the right to accept or reject your offer for any reason. Distinctive Trophies also reserves the right to reject your offer without limitation, to the unavailability of any product, an error in the price or the product description posted on this website, or an error in your order.

A contract between you and Distinctive Trophies only comes into existence when it forwards confirmation of receipt of your order and payment of order.

8. Prices

Prices of products and services and delivery and other charges displayed on this website are current at the time of publication, but may change at any time and are subject to availability.

10. Ownership & Delivery

Distinctive Trophies will retain ownership to the products you order until you have made full and cleared payment for those products,. Ownership of purchased products will pass to you upon their delivery, or collection. As ownership passes to you, the purchaser once delivered, you should consider whether suitable insurance is needed.

11. Limitation of liability

While we have made every effort to ensure that the information contained in this website is free from error, Distinctive Trophies do not warrant the accuracy, adequacy or completeness of the material on this website. All information is subject to change without notice. Distinctive Trophies do not guarantee that this website or any third party websites linked to this website will be free from viruses, or that access to this website or any third party website will be uninterrupted.

Subject to any responsibilities implied by law and which cannot be excluded, Distinctive Trophies are not liable to you for any losses, damages, liabilities, claims and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and defence or settlement costs) whatsoever arising out of or referable to any material on this website and it's products or any third party website whether in contract, tort including negligence, statute or otherwise.
